It was on a study abroad trip to South Africa that I first became interested in pursuing professional photography. I couldn’t begin to explain all that I was seeing and experiencing, so I turned to my new Nikon Coolpix P80, borrowed from my mom, to document daily life in Cape Town. I have since diversified my portfolio to include fashion, event, wedding, and black & white photography.
I am an avid traveler and to date have visited over 25 countries. I love planning trips and offering travel advice. I’m also a huge fan of CouchSurfing and try to CouchSurf as much as possible while traveling. I believe that you’re really only a tourist until you experience the local perspectives of the country you’re in. While traveling I enjoy taking photographs and pushing myself to seek out and document the beauty that surrounds me.
Since graduating from Northeastern University, I have focused my efforts on the creation of The Photography League, an online platform where amateur photographers can interact, promote their brand and sell their work through customizable gallery pages and portfolios.
